"Getting to Know You" is the first episode of the third season of Banshee: Origins and, therefore, the first episode of the series overall. It first aired on December 20, 2014. The episode was written by Executive Producer Jonathan Tropper and directed by Executive Producer Greg Yaitanes.
Synopsis[]
SEVENTEEN YEARS AGO
The man we later come to know as Lucas Hood walks into a room and argues with a younger Ana about whether he was asked or told to go to a meeting there. She pours him a drink and they flirt a bit. Hood tries to guess what Ana is to Mr. Rabbit. He goes first for secretary, then for girlfriend. Throughout the convesation, Ana is mildly amused by Hood's flirting, Hood admits that he finds her attractive and she comments he could do with a little rejection. Then Hood suggests he and Ana help each other, seeing as they both work for the same, dangerous gangster. She insists they cannot, but Hood argues she doesn't know him. She objects he doesn't know her either and Hood says he's starting to. Right then, Olek leads someone out of Rabbit's office and he apologizes for the delay on Rabbit's behalf. By the words he exchanges with Ana, Hood realizes he's been talking to Rabbit's daughter all along. He tries to clear things between them, but she motions for him to get in Rabbit's office, which he does, smiling. Once Olek follows him inside, we can see Ana is also smiling.
