Demetrius Grosse is an American actor. He stars as the affable Emmett Yawners on Banshee and joined the first and second season.

He has a role in the Rockstar game L.A. Noire. He has also appeared in Dexter, Heroes, ER, Criminal Minds and a recurring role in FX's Justified.

Career[]

Grosse made his screen acting debut in 2005, playing a US Marshal in Numb3rs. In 2006 he appeared in the series Close to Home, Dexter and The Unit, the film Sofia for Now and the television feature The Unsuccesful Thug. In 2007 he had roles in CSI: Miami, NCIS and Dirt and the film Studio. In 2008 he appeared in Bones and had a recurring role in Heroes as Baron Samedi, a Haitian warlord. He also appeared in the short film Rock Obama: The Barack Obama Musical and began a recurring role in the fourteenth season of ER as Officer Newkirk. The role continued into 2009 and the fifteenth and final season, spanning five episodes. Also in 2009 he produced and starred in the award-winning short film, A Quiet Fire'.

In 2010 he appeared in the film Cartel War and the series House. In 2011 he had featured roles in The Cape, Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior, How to Be a Gentleman and Criminal Minds, the video game L.A. Noire and the films The Inheritance and Hollywoo. He is well known for his breakout performance as Errol in the third season of the FX series Justified in 2012.
