Synopsis[]
TWO YEARS AGO
Deva is going into her mother's bedroom and starts experimenting with her make-up when her mother walks in. Deva asks her mom if she is doing it right and Carrie says she doesn't need make-up. Deva replies that her mom wears it and she looks good wearing it. As Carrie walks behind Deva she notices the necklace Hood gave her and asks where she found it. Deva says she found it in back pouch of her junk drawer and wonders if it was expensive. Carrie says it wasn't and that she lost it awhile ago. When Deva looks inside she sees the house and Carrie lies to her, saying it must have come with the locket. Deva wonders if her dad bought it for her she says no and Deva then asks if her real dad bought it for her. Carrie says Gordon is her real father and Deva tries to redirect the conversation back to her bio dad but Carrie shuts her down and demands the necklace back. Deva storms off with Carrie trying to apologize to her after she picks the necklace up.
