Calvin Bunker was the second in the command of the Brotherhood and the younger brother of Kurt Bunker. He had a wife, Maggie Bunker and a son named Hank. His father-in-law, Randall Watts, was the leader of the Brotherhood in Banshee.
On the surface Calvin seems like a mild-mannered husband and father who provides for his family. However, there is actually boiling hot rage inside of him which is caused by his increasingly strained marriage with Maggie, his business relationship with Proctor, his dissatisfaction with the leader of the Brotherhood and his older brother Kurt who is trying to destroy the Brotherhood.
His frustration and bitterness slowly turn into violent outbursts. When his father-in-law is released from prison and he takes over the Brotherhood, Calvin finally snaps and stabs him in the neck with an icepick. Then he proceeds to rape his wife, beat his boss up to death and cut all ties with Proctor when he gives Watts´ severed head as a gift to him. Maggie becomes afraid of him and Kurt arranges for her to stay with her son at Brock´s house. This causes Calvin to give his brother an ultimatum.
The Brotherhood goes to war against Proctor who sends Burton to retrieve his stolen shipment of drugs and he ends up slaughtering several Brotherhood members while doing so. Calvin tries to eliminate Proctor with a large group of Brotherhood members only to discover that Proctor is working with Senator Mitchum, a nation wide leader of the Brotherhood who tells them that Calvin is no longer in charge.
Having no family, no job and no Brotherhood, Calvin confronts Kurt at Brock´s house demanding to see his wife and son. When Kurt refuses, Calvin punches him and they have a brutal fight which ends up with Kurt beating his brother up severely. Calvin still proceeds to make threats to his family saying that he would rather kill his wife and son than let Kurt take care of them. Finally, Kurt shoots Calvin three times in the chest and he tearfully watches him die in his arms.
